Generally the show current music track in Gtalk works with Window Media Player.
But since WMP has imited features when it comes to actually use it for watching videos or listning to music.
(If you are not able to do so with WMP please read my bolg to resolve this

So the same feature can be achieved with Winamp.
To enable this please follow below method in Windows 7/Vista
1. Close both Winamp and Google Talk
2. Go to the root directory of Winamp, usually C:\Program Files\Winamp (if Winamp is installed in any other directory other than C:\, then replace C:\ with that drive letter)But since WMP has imited features when it comes to actually use it for watching videos or listning to music.

To enable this please follow below method in Windows 7/Vista
1. Close both Winamp and Google Talk
4. Now in the root folder of Winamp, create a new file, i.e., Right Click->New->Text Document, it would show New Text Document.txt by default.
5. Rename this file to winamp.m3u, a prompt shows you a warning that the file may become unusable, Click on Yes and that's it.
